Top: Thrifted
Skirt: Forever 21
Bag: Meyer
Heels: Fahrenheit

Hi lovelies! hope you are having a great weekend! According to the last post, I should be updating with day 2 &3 at the parks but sadly my memory card got corrupted and all I am able to see right now are the videos. I am now trying to retrieve as many of the pics as I can..anyway this is a little outfit I wore a couple weeks ago. I love these layered lace skirt for spring. I have them in black (seen here), navy blue, pink and white. For this look, I decided to pair the black one with my thrifted pac man t-shirt that I found (brand new tags and all) at my local thrift shop for $2 and my platform pumps...what do you think?

Park Day 1

As a part of our anniversary celebration we visited the universal parks in Orlando. It was a pretty fun day (s) and I realize that no matter how old I get i will never get tired of roller coasters..lol.... my body, on the other hand, now that is a whole  different issue, lol...i mean i get headaches on the rides now and i didn't before and boy am i  tired at the end of the day..Exhausted!!!!.
I know in my first park post (Busch Blues), some of you were surprised that I  "dress" up to go to the parks..well i do although i wouldn't exactly call it "dressed" up. I do wear makeup maybe not a full face..forexample eye shadow etc..but i always wear my bb cream everywhere(Maybelline) especially because it has sun screen, mascara is a must (scanty eyelashes), i do my brows (as best i can..lol..and that's not saying much), and i slap on some pink punch Maybelline babylips lip balm (a walking ad for Maybelline right?). I  always wear cloth shorts (rather than denim) because i find them easier to walk in and actually more comfortable too. I always try to wear a lose fitting top especially if my visit is in the spring/summer when the heat is brutal!! and a pair of flats (usually ballet flats sometimes sandals). Finally, i have to take a "big" bag because my hubby has to stuff everything in his pockets in there before we go riding. Usually, i like to take a small cross body bag. Anyway, this is quick snippet of the first day ...what do you think?.

Hi everyone! so this is just a quick post to show you guys the dress I wore on my anniversary to have dinner. It wasn't anything classy because I really wasn't  hungry..i just wanted dessert and I wanted to look pretty getting it. Unfortunately by the time we got ready to go everywhere was closed or closing so we ended up at Joes crab shack (lol..I know)  but it turned out quite nice...lol. Anyways what do you think of this look?

DIY Boyfriend Jeans

Hi everyone! I'm back from a short anniversary vacation. I wore this simple, very comfortable outfit on the car ride there. As the title suggests, these are my very own custom made boyfriend jeans...lol. I must admit, I am not the most creative person ever, in fact I always seem to mess up my diy projects...but lately  (with the help of YouTube) ive gotten a little better at it. All you need for this diy project is a pair of oversized jeans (2 sizes up maybe?), I purchased these Levi's from the thrift store for .99 cents (awesome price huh?), some scissors,  tweezers, and the internet (to google a video on how to create distressed denims). I don't want to write out  the actual details because I have found it easier to see something actually being done rather than be told how to do it (for me that is). I must admit that they didn't come out exactly how I wanted them to (maybe just one side did) but I think they look pretty cool regardless..what do you think?

Easter Coral

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a super weekend, my 3rd wedding anniversary is coming up this week and I am  psyched ..lol. Anyways this past Easter Sunday, I had dinner with my in-laws and this is what I wore. The outfit might be too matchy matchy for some peoples taste...but whatever .. I love it. The idea for this outfit actually came about simply because the two pieces just happened to be laying next to each other on the bed...I thought "maybe this could work", after adding my gold metallic belt (which I love and  is a thrift find) along with  gold and camel accessories, the outfit seemed to come alive...what do you think?
