Hi dolls! so today I am showing you my take on the little black dress (LBD). I showed this dress in a previous post however it was covered up under a burgundy varsity jacket. This outfit shows the dress in its basic form. It is just a simple cheap cotton dress from forever21 ($13) but it is reallygreat in that you can dress it up or down. Ive worn it with flats to go thrifting and ive worn it with heels (shown here) out to eat. IThe booties are from shoedazzle and I love love them ..they are spiked with cigarette heels. Im kinda pissed off because I recently noticed that I lost the tip off one of the heel and shoedazzle did not provide extra tips ..hiss...aside from that it is really a great pair of shoe. What do you think of this look...Also if you follow me please...please leave a message even if it just your link (I don't mind) so that I can return the follow. Have a great weekend!!!

A thrifters closet is the best
Jacket: Thrifted; Top: Marshalls; Skirt: Forever21; Bag: Aldo |
Hi everyone! so the reason I titled this post "A thrifters closet is the best" is because the major pieces of this look are from ...you guessed it.....the thrift shop. This beautiful striped blazer and blue skirt are two of the pieces I've been lucky enough to find during one of my many thrifting excursions. Its just so fun to find these great pieces and breathe new life into them. I could buy a striped blazer for 30 instead I bought one for $3...isn't that simply awesome? Also, ive been thinking of maybe doing a two weekly post on my thrift finds...what do you think?

Firmoo Glasses Review
Jacket: Forever21; Top: Thrifted; Skirt: Forever21; Boots: Forever21; Bag: Beya
Hi everyone! most of you (who follow me) might notice that I haven't posted in awhile and that was due to computer issues again (sigh!). I now have a brand new laptop so hopefully I wont have any more issues other than simply trying to figure this one out. Needless to say, I am back and I have a few outfits to show you.
I wanted to return with a review for Firmoo, a global online optical store. If you're in the blogosphere (especially the fashion blogosphere) you're probably aware of this company. Regardless, I was contacted about a few weeks ago with an offer to choose a pair of glasses, wear them and write an objective review telling my lovely readers how I felt about the product and service. The offer seemed simple enough so I agreed.
First, let me start this review by providing a little info about this company. As previously stated, they are global online optical store that provides high quality and fashionable glasses or sunglasses at a reasonable cost (starting at $8). Both prescription and non-prescription are available. Their website is easily to find and navigate and they provide not only a simple view of the product (like most sites) but also a try on view where you can either choose from a set of provided face shapes similar to yours or actually upload your own photo. Also, you can customize your frames to suit yourself
So the pair I chose was the OTO3570 non-prescription fashion sunglasses pictured above. The delivery was very fast (under a week) and their presentation of the product was impeccable. It came in a plastic casing with an additional cloth case (forgive me, I don't know the correct term ..if their is one) and a cleaning cloth. The glasses itself is pretty great...its not as flimsy as the ones I usually buy (lol) and the details (silver handles) really add to its appearance. Trust me, the photo doesn't do it justice, I actually had to double check to make sure the one I received was the one I ordered. Needless to say, I really like them but if I am to be objective I have to add that this pair cost $49, a sum I never pay for glasses and also I think maybe the frames I chose was too big for me. I tend to favor smaller frames for example aviators (btw they have aviators, I realized too late). Nevertheless, Firmoo really does provide a wide variety of high quality fashionable glasses, and those of you who are fond of glasses (like me) really should pay them a visit. What is more, Firmoo launched a First-Pair-Free program, where lovely readers like you are able to get their first pairs by paying the shipping fee only. Check it out!!
About my look: I wore this outfit to do some window shopping at the mall this weekend. My favourite piece in this look has to be the mint leather jacket from forever 21. Also, I am wearing the glasses from Firmoo....like em? let me know

I have a Secret....
If i extended an invitation to you to follow this blog and you do PLEASE let me know along with a link to your blog so i can return the favour.
I have a little secret that i want to let you guys in on...there is something thrifted in almost every single outfit i wear. I thrift often, 2 to 3 times a month. Where i do most of my thrifting, they have 50% sales every day...so the possibility of savings are endless. I know not everyone feels the same way about thrifting as i do, some people even go as far as to say "its disgusting". Well guess what? im not here to change your mind ..if its not your thing..its not your thing. I mean i got into thrifting about 2 yrs ago and before that i really didnt know about thrift stores..i actually found out from youtubers and once i got into it ..well that was it. Let me say this though, getting into thrifting was hard for me, i didnot know any nice places and my husband was clueless ( he also thought it was disgusting) so i started off testing the waters. The first thrift stores i visited were HORRIBLE. Their inventory (?) just sucked! however when i was just about to give up i found a diamond in the rough and ive been going back ever since. I don't buy everything that a thrift store has to offer, for example i stay way from underwear (believe me, i don't get donating your underwear either), sheets, towels, shoes -except if they are brand new and my size. You may not beleive it but i have found nearly 6 pairs of brand new shoes at the thrift store..soles clean, tags on and everything..i still spray them with lysol though and wipe them down with chlorox wipes. I tend to focus on blazers ( i have a wide assortment because of thrifting) , belts, bags, chunky sweaters and jackets (winter time), and the occasional dress and skirt. What do you think of thrifting?
About this look:
Ofcourse i had to bust out the leather again! I mean they have to go into storage soon anyway so..... The jacket was one of my great sale finds from forever21, only 15 bucks! and the heels (yup brand new..but half a size bigger than i usually wear) , the top (also new) and finally the bag (used) were all thrifted!.

Winter in SoFlo
Jacket: Xhileration (Thrifted)♥ Pants: Marshalls♥ Top: Forever 21♥Bag: Beya♥ Heels: Charlotte Russe |
Hi everyone! so lately its been a little cold here in florida...cold enough for jackets, leather pants and even boots..so i took advantage. Ive worn this leather pants every time we have a change in temperature this winter. This change (usually a cold front) lasts for 2 maybe 3 days so one of those days has to be a leather (faux) pants day. Living in SoFlo the opportunity rarely arise so when it does i make use of it. Here is one of my outfits ..what do you think?

Crossed
♥Sweater: Marshalls♥ Leggings: Forever 21♥ ♥Boots:Gojane♥ ♥Bag: Relic (thrift)♥ |
Its no secret that i do most of my shopping in a thrift store, forever21, marshalls and tjmaxx. The upside of shopping at these stores is that you get on trend clothing for cheap (in thrift stores practically free) the downside: very common "every where you go you see" clothing..lol..i mean there are alot of stuff that look similar regardless of the brand for example, chiffon shirts whether they're from marshalls or from say zara you really cannot tell the difference unless you check the tag. I do wish (sometimes) that i could shop more "high end" stuff but i wont kill myself or my credit cards for that ability. The truth is, i have more important things to worry about right now. I love fashion and i love dressing up and if i can spend a penny to get something i consider pretty, well for me that's a penny well spent..
