I have a Secret....

If i extended an invitation to you to follow this blog and you do PLEASE let me know along with a link to your blog so i can return the favour.

I have a little secret that i want to let you guys in on...there is something thrifted in almost every single outfit i wear. I thrift often, 2 to 3 times a month. Where i do most of my thrifting, they have 50% sales every day...so the possibility of savings are endless. I know not everyone feels the same way about thrifting as i do, some people even go as far as to say "its disgusting". Well guess what? im not here to change your mind ..if its not your thing..its not your thing. I mean i got into thrifting about 2 yrs ago and before that i really didnt know about thrift stores..i actually found out  from youtubers and once i got into it ..well that was it. Let me say this though, getting into thrifting was hard for me, i didnot know any nice places and my husband was clueless ( he also thought it was disgusting) so i started off testing the waters. The first thrift stores i visited were HORRIBLE. Their inventory (?) just sucked! however when i was just about to give  up i found a diamond in the rough and ive been going back ever since. I don't buy everything that a thrift store has to offer, for example i stay way from underwear (believe me, i don't get donating your underwear either), sheets, towels, shoes -except if they are brand new and my size. You may not beleive it but i have found nearly 6 pairs of brand new shoes at the thrift store..soles clean, tags on and everything..i still spray them with lysol though and wipe them down with chlorox wipes. I tend to focus on blazers ( i have a wide assortment because of thrifting) , belts, bags, chunky sweaters and jackets (winter time), and the occasional dress and skirt. What do you think of thrifting?

About this look:

Ofcourse i had to bust out the leather again! I mean they have to go into storage soon anyway so..... The jacket was one of my great sale finds from forever21, only 15 bucks! and the heels (yup brand new..but half a size bigger than i usually wear) , the top (also new) and finally the bag (used) were all thrifted!.

Winter in SoFlo

Jacket: Xhileration (Thrifted)♥ Pants: Marshalls♥
Top: Forever 21♥Bag: Beya♥ Heels: Charlotte Russe
Hi everyone! so lately its been a little cold here in florida...cold enough for jackets, leather pants and even boots..so i took advantage. Ive worn this leather pants every time we have a change in temperature this winter. This change (usually a cold front) lasts for 2 maybe 3 days so one of those days has to be a leather (faux) pants day. Living in SoFlo the opportunity rarely arise so when it does i make use of it. Here is one of my outfits ..what do you think?

Crossed

Sweater: Marshalls♥ Leggings: Forever 21♥
♥Boots:Gojane♥
 ♥Bag: Relic (thrift)♥
Its no secret that i do most of my shopping in a thrift store, forever21, marshalls and tjmaxx. The upside of shopping at these stores is that you get on trend clothing for cheap (in thrift stores practically free) the downside: very common "every where you go you see" clothing..lol..i mean there are alot of stuff that look similar regardless of the brand  for example, chiffon shirts whether they're from marshalls or from say zara you really cannot tell the difference unless you check the tag. I do wish (sometimes) that i could shop more "high end" stuff but i wont kill myself or my credit cards for that ability. The truth is, i have more important things to worry about right now. I love fashion and i love dressing up and if i can spend a penny to get something i consider pretty, well for me that's a penny well spent..
